Different Constellation

Somewhere there is one mother mourning for her only child

And no one would understand her

Her pillows soaked in tears in the night and the morning after

Her life crumbles like a molten fault

And there is a family who cannot understand her

Because they are also in grief.

And somewhere in time

There is a rainbow that greeted her

There is a love all around her in different colors and rays

That love can never be lost but

Is expressed in different forms

The earth in her slowly formed another

Tectonic formation new to her

It is of a  topsy turvy kind

Like dust devils turning her upside down

Now the formation takes its own fold

Like the stars in the night

Holding her not apart

But in a different constellation.

Hi Albert! Thank you so much for this appreciation. Grief is so unthinkable that I delve in poems and other artwork for my healing process. When it was so fresh, almost all poems I am able to write are about grieving be it in Tagalog or English. Will be posting some more and good luck too to your blog.
